Down and Armagh will meet in the first of this year’s Ulster semi-finals after the opening quarter-finals.
Armagh landed three first-half goals to ease in to the semi-finals with an 11 point win over Fermanagh.
Conor Turbitt, Jarly Óg Burns and Stefan Campbell all found the net in the first-half. Kieran McGeeney’s side led 3-4 to two points at half-time.
Fermanagh recovered in the second-half scoring seven points, but this just put some respectability on the score-line. Stefan Campbell ended up as Armagh’s top scorer with 1-2 registered on the day.

Down labour past Antrim into semi-final
Down booked their place in the semi-final with a four-point win over Antrim. A laboured performance by the division three runner-up.
However the Antrim performance was dogged throughout. Down led six points to three at half-time. Odhran Murdock, Conor Hand and Ryan Johnston pushing Down three clear.
Down turned the burners on in the second-half. Daniel Guinness topped scored for the Mourne men with two points! Bigger challenges certainly lie ahead for the Down men.
Ryan McQuillan top scored for Antrim with three points (2f), as Antrim bowed out and into the Tailteann Cup.
Down will face Armagh in the first Ulster semi-final on Saturday April 27th.
Ahead of that Donegal face Derry this Saturday, Whereas, Cavan host Tyrone in Kingspan Breffni on Sunday April 21st. The winners of those two game will face off in their semi-final on April 28.
