The national league fixtures for 2024 have been released. Monaghan will get their Division 1 campaign underway on Saturday January 27th when they travel to Croke Park to face Dublin with a throw in time at 7:30 with Kerry the first home game when they are the visitors to St Tiernachs Park Clones on Sunday the 4th of February. Cavan begin their Division 2 league with a trip to Netwatch Cullen Park on Saturday January 27th to take on Kildare who's county ground is currently under development with Donegal the visitors to Kingspan Breffni on Sunday 4th.
The first weekend in February will also see the start of the hurling league with Monaghan away to Louth who are now managed by former farney manager and player Trevor Hilliard in Division 3A. Cavan are also out on that weekend as they get their 3A campaign underway with a trip to Sligo.
