With the Allinaz National football league on a break this weekend, the opportunity is been afforded to teams to take stock of their positions following the opening round of games. Division 1 currently sees Monaghan in 5th place on one point following their draw with Tyrone which was followed by a loss to Mayo. Armagh top the table with impressive wins over Dublin and the Red Hand county. Kerry, Donegal and Mayo are all on 3 points with as noted Monaghan on 1 point along with Kildare and Tyrone. Dublin prop up the table with no points on the board.
In division 4, Cavan have been workman like in their opening 2 games as the registered wins over Leitrim and Wexford to sit on 4 points along with Sligo and London who are also unbeaten. Next up for the Breffni side on Sunday week is a trip away to Sligo followed by the visit of Carlow and then Tipperary, a trip away to London and a final round game with Waterford. For manager Michael Graham it is as always a case of one game at a time and he knows a trip away to high flying Sligo in Markievicz park on Sunday week will not be easy
