Scotstown booked their place in the knockout stages of the Monaghan senior championship with a one-19 to one-13 victory over Corduff on Saturday. The win see's Scotstown top of group one with one game remaining and directly into the semi final. Manager David McCague was happy with how his side did the basics correctly.
Elsewhere, Cremartin scored a one point win over Aughnamullen one-17 to two-13, a result which now sees Aughnamullen drop into the relegation play-offs. In group two, Latton scored a one-13 to 10 point win over Donaghmoyne while Inniskeen scored a one-13 to one-10 win over Killanny. Donaghmoyne are now eliminated and will contest the relegation play-offs.
