Monaghan GAA have announced that All boro floor service New York have ended their sponsorship arrangement with the county board.
A statement issued by the Monaghan board read;
All Boro Floor Service New York, primary sponsors of Monaghan GAA have ended their 3-year sponsorship deal by mutual agreement. Monaghan GAA are indebted to All Boro Floor Service not just for the invaluable financial contribution but also for their continued friendship. We would like to take this opportunity to record our sincere thanks to everyone in All Boro Floor Service especially Ryan and Courtney. It marks the end of another era of Monaghan GAA which was filled with glorious and magical memories for the people of Monaghan wearing the All Boro Floor Service Jersey.
We began our partnership with All Boro Floor Service in 2019 with our dear friend and devoted Monaghan man Philip Traynor. As a young emigrant to New York, Philip’s dream came true when his company was announced as the new main sponsors of his beloved Monaghan GAA. The Monaghan and All Boro Floor Service brand was strengthened on the back of improved team performances. This year the senior hurlers won the Lory Meagher Cup, the celtic Challenge team reached the All-Ireland Final, the senior footballers reached the All-Ireland semi-final, losing to eventual champions Dublin, while our minor footballers reached the All-Ireland final for the first time since 1939.
Statement
However, the untimely passing of Philip Traynor, in July 2021, sent shockwaves around the community and our GAA family. It was a sad day for all concerned and it was even more poignant that such an upsetting incident took place only days after he watched his beloved County progress in the Ulster senior football championship, defeating Fermanagh in a hugely entertaining game at St. Tiernach’s Park, Clones. The pride on Philip’s face following that victory and the fact that the Monaghan team was wearing the All Boro Floor Service logo on their jerseys will live long in the memory of those who saw him on that occasion.
Following their father’s treasured dream Ryan, Courtney, Ciara and Grainne Traynor continued the partnership with Monaghan GAA and for that we are eternally grateful for their loyalty, sponsorship, support and friendship.
Monaghan County Board chairperson Declan Flanagan paid tribute to All Boro and the Traynor family saying “We are proud to be associated with All Boro Floor Service and they have been great supporters of Monaghan GAA. We have built a strong and positive bond over the last three years and they are a company that share many of our values. They are very much part of our success since 2020 and we were honoured to have the All Boro Logo on our jerseys as we developed and progressed Gaelic games within the County”
