Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has revealed his famous goal against Everton as the favourite of his career.
Shearer scored an incredible 283 goals in his league career. 148 goals landed, during Shearer’s 10-year spell at hometown club Newcastle United.
While Shearer has revealed his 2002 strike against Everton at St. James Park as the favourite of his career.
“99 times out of a hundred it goes in the top row” smiled the former England captain. “I caught it sweet”. As “soon as I hit it, I knew where it was going to”.
“It was fun watching the goalkeeper trying to save it. I think that was probably my best one”.
