At the PDC qualifying school, Monaghan dart player Shane Mc Guirk registered a 9 dart finish on day 2 of the event in his 6-2 win over Lewis Pride before going out in the last 32.
The winner each day at the school gains a tour card for the next 2 seasons .
Mc Guirk from Castleblayney has been steadily moving up through the field each day.

The PDC tour qualifying event has seen an influx of BDO players taking part this year, with over 650 players having entered the competition with 29 tour cards up for grabs.
