Conor McManus is up for his fourth all-star as four Monaghan players have been nominated in this year’s PWC GAA All-Stars.
Goalkeeper Rory Beggan has been shortlisted alongside Stephen Cluxton of Dublin and Shane Ryan of Kerry.
The Scotstown number one was an all-star winner in 2018. Conor McCarthy's move from the forwards to the backs has seen him receive a nomination with Karl O'Connell also nominated.
The Tyholland clubman was previously a winner in 2018.
While Conor McManus could possibly pick up a fourth All-star as he is shortlisted in a forward line that includes representation from 12 other counties.
All-Ireland champions Dublin have been rewarded with 10 places in this year’s PwC All-Star football nominations. The high-profile list of 45 names is notable for being spread across 13 counties. The largest representative breakdown since 2008.
While the contenders for PwC GAA/GPA Footballer of the Year – an accolade voted for by the inter-county playing population.
Last year’s winner, David Clifford is again shortlisted, and the Kerry star forward is joined by Dublin midfielder and a two-time Player of the Year Brian Fenton, as well as Slaughtneil dual star Brendan Rogers from Derry.
