2 Monaghan stalwarts call it a day with the intercounty scene

Monaghan get their defence of the Bank of Ireland Dr Mc Kenna cup underway this evening (Wednesday) when they welcome Down to St Mary's Park Castleblayney at 7:30 and manager Vinny Corey will be planning without the services of Colin Walshe and Drew Wylie who have both hung up their intercounty boots. Both players are Ulster senior winners having claimed the title in 2013 and 15 with Colin also picking up an All Star in 2013 as well as been a former captain.
