In school home ec is regularly female dominated but yet when it comes to those who are top of the game in the chefing world there is a huge male presence!
Well, in MacNean Restaurant in Cavan both the Head Chef Carmel, and Sous Chef Olivia run the kitchen, and do think that the industry and the presence of women within it is improving. As part of our Working for Balance Series our reporter Sheila Naughton travelled out to the restaurant to talk to them about their work, and their road to becoming such successful chefs.
