Over 60 events have been registered in Cavan and Monaghan for National Heritage Week 2017.
It's Ireland's most popular cultural event which takes place in the last week of August, and this year close to half a million people are expected to participate in over 2,000 heritage events around the country.
Sandra McQuaid from the Heritage Office spoke about some of the events taking place for Heritage Week 2017.
