You may have heard of the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance motor race in France, but what about something just as long but closer to home and on two wheels.
That is exactly the challenge facing two south Armagh sisters, as they prepare to saddle up for the Mondello24 on their bicycles.
Self-proclaimed “novice cyclists” Orlagh and Gabrielle Fox are taking on the event in aid of SOSAD, and in memory of their cousin Jack who died one year ago.
You can contribute to the fundraiser here.
The pair joined Aaron McElroy in studio earlier, with Orlagh starting by explaining more about what’s ahead of them.
