Snow and ice forecast for the region. A status yellow weather warning for snow and ice issued for counties Cavan and Monaghan.
According to Met Eireann, accumulations of snowfall possible this evening and overnight. Furthermore, Met Eireann also advise poor visibility that could lead to difficult travelling conditions.
