Glaslough Village is aiming to come out on top when it competes for gold at the European Entente Florele Competition.
That's according to Sammy Leslie who runs Castle Leslie Estate in the village.
Just two villages in Ireland are selected every year to compete in the European competition, and this year Glaslough in County Monaghan and Abbeyleix in County Laois have been selected.

Sammy spoke about Glaslough's chances of taking home Gold when the judges visit this September.
