Carrickmacross could see up to 120 new jobs with the opening of the Treacy Hotel Group's newest hotel.
The Oasis Hotel and later called the Carrick Court Hotel closed in 2009 but was recently sold to the Treacy's Hotel Group - which has hotels in Waterford, Enniscorthy and Ennis.
It's intended that the hotel will be completely redeveloped over the course of the next five years - but Eileen Treacy of the group says that she expects to open the doors at the end of May this year. She revealed her plans for the hotel on today's The Wider View.
