Social farming is a relatively new concept - and gives people who are availing of a range of health service supports, the opportunity to participate in farming activities in their local areas.
Research suggests that social farming helps participants build self-esteem, confidence and improves their health and well-being. Paul Henry is the Development Officer for Social farming in Cavan and Monaghan and he explained a little bit more about the concept of social farming.
