The Make-A-Wish foundation is asking for donations made online to the charity as their on-street collection may not go ahead due to the restrictions surrounding handling cash.
Speaking with Eddie Butler, Susan O'Dwyer who is the CEO of the Make-a-Wish charity talks, about the work of the charity, what they do to help children and how the public's donation help grant the wishes of seriously ill children.
To date they have helped 2,600 Irish children.
They are asking for virtual donations through their website, www.makeawish.ie or text mywish to 50300 to donate €4.
