The HSE confirmed they will deliver a new day services centre for County Cavan. Currently, school leavers and young adults with additional needs use the current outdated facility. Additionally, the HSE has also confirmed the new centre will be based in Cavan Town and serve the entire county.
Local TD, Brendan Smith, told Zoe Tunney from our Northern Sound news team, he received correspondence from the HSE to say the Cavan and Monaghan Disability Services team completed a comprehensive submission for capital funding for the new centre in recent days.
