Monaghan’s Biodiversity Conference is back again this year. Indeed, this is following a very successful event last year! This event is a showcase of Monaghan’s biodiversity.
Furthermore, it is an opportunity to come and hear about local projects and local issues from local speakers and find out how you can get involved in your local community. We will hear about the wonderful wetlands of Monaghan, the rewilding of our towns and villages, our work for pollinators and ongoing projects in Monaghan.
A Report on Swift Populations across the county will be launched during the conference. Moreover, there will be opportunities for you to contribute your thoughts and ideas for protecting and enhancing nature in Monaghan. The event is happening in the Wetlands Centre in Ballybay. Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Monaghan’s biodiversity officer, Patricia McCreesh. She updated Ronan on this free conference.
