Listen back: Monaghan Town Park Run seeks enthusiastic volunteers

Organisers of the Monaghan Town Park Run are on the lookout for volunteers to get involved in the running of the weekly event.

Up on 100 people take to Rossmore Park each Saturday morning to run or walk the 5k distance.

Annmarie McCleary, the event director of Monaghan Town Park Run says the popular event is very sociable and very inclusive.

Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Annmarie and I started by asking her about the importance and need for volunteers at the local park run event.
