The County Monaghan Anti Pylon group has slammed the Government's proposed independent review into the North South Interconnector.
Minister Denis Naughten said he would carry out an independent review of the project, after two motions in favour of the review, passed in both the Dáil and the Seanad.
There's been much controversy over the proposed independent review, as groups opposed to the project believe it doesn't go far enough.
The County Monaghan Anti Pylon Committee say a similar independent review into the project was published in 2012 - and they have criticised the current review for being almost identical.
Nigel Hillis of the Committee says the Government will find no new answers unless they broaden the terms of reference to include things like land devaluation.
