The Irish Society of Colitis and Crohn's Disease has launched a campaign called #DoubleUp.
They're calling on the government, through an online petition, to double the number of specialist IBD nurses in Ireland.
The move would bring the number from 14 to 28 nurses, in line with IBD treatment recommendations and best practice across other European countries like the UK. Seán-Óg, from Cavan, was 28 when he was first diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
