Listen Back: Plans for new Ballyconnell Community Centre well underway

Work is underway to open a new community centre for Ballyconnell.

Funding was allocated by the Arts Council under the creative places fund to invest in places that have had fewer opportunities to take part in the arts.

Now, a new fundraising campaign has just been launched to fund the opening of a much needed community centre for the town of Ballyconnell in Co.Cavan,

Chairperson of the Community Centre, Taragh Donohoe has been speaking with Jack Cunnane about the campaign and what the centre could bring to the area.
