It’s no secret that students across the country have seen the impact of covid 19 on their schooling, social lives, and mental health and sadly in this region we have seen too many young people go before their time as a result of these extra strains imposed by the lockdowns.
Guidance counsellor with St.McCartan’s College in Monaghan Gerry O’Reilly is encouraging students to reach out if they are feeling vulnerable.
He is also helping those sitting the leaving cert to best prepare themselves ahead of the summer's exams and says that they really need routine and also self care in order to put their best foot forward.
