Kathleen Tuite from Magheracloone always felt she was a Monaghan woman, despite being born in the Castlepollard Mother and Baby Home.
She found out after her parents had passed that they were from the locality and when she had lived in Dublin years ago she was only minutes away from her birth mother.
Kathleen has since found out their names, Charlie, and Bridget, and is grateful that she also now knows her name.
However, she says that her mother is the one that deserves the apology from the State and Church, not her and today's apology means nothing to her.
