It's always important to continue to raise awareness of Autism and what it means for families.

Last week there was discussion around the resumption of school for children with special needs and this interview gives a look at the real lives and stories behind these decisions.

Lorraine Cotter and Lorcan Murphy live in Carrickmacross with their three children Jacob, Eva, and Phoebe. Each child has autism to varying degrees, with different needs for each child, as well as personalities of their own.

Here they speak to Sheila Naughton about their life, the services, how they cope, and their fears for the future.
