A Monaghan doctor says we should move away from the “doom and gloom” of Covid-19.
Dr Aideen Brides said other ways of talking about the virus must be considered if we’re to live with it for most of 2021.
She said people recognise the seriousness of the pandemic, but must be praised for how well they’ve dealt with it.

Dr Brides also suggested the Government should consider “regional unlocking” of counties that have shown to be stopping the spread.
She joined Aaron McElroy on The Wider View, and started by explaining the current Covid situation as she sees it.
