19 artists across Cavan and Monaghan are taking part in Incognito 2023, Ireland's online art sale in aid of the Jack and Jill Foundation. The event is taking place on Wednesday, April the 26th and local participants include Carmel O'Callaghan from Shercock; Anna Wiercioch from Lough Gowna; Sally-Ann Duffy from Bailieborough; and Breda McGuigan from Monaghan town.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Anna - a visual artist and photographer - said she has been greatly influenced by Mexican and Spanish art, and by the peace and tranquility in Gowna. She highlighted how this is her third year to participate in the Incognito fundraiser and creating art for others is inspiring for her.
