A bat survey is set to take place in Monaghan next year in association with Bat Conservation Ireland.
The National Daubenton's Bat Survey will take place next summer across the county with the aim to find out what kind of numbers are in Monaghan.
Data for Monaghan is quiet low when it comes to the counting of bats especially the Daubenton breed.
