The issue unfinished housing development in Carrickmacross has been raised once again.
Cllr Colm Carthy raised the the issue at yesterday's sitting of Monaghan County Council. Indeed, the site is very sore on the eyes for the past 15 years. Works are underway to develop the site to offer much needed social homes which would see 33 homes being delivered which 7 has been delivered to date.
This estate is the only unfinished housing estate in the wider Carrickmacross area. Clos na Droimainne has remained unfinished for a long number of years.
