Female entrepreneurs and aspiring businesswomen from across Cavan and Monaghan are coming together for this year’s National Women’s Enterprise Day. The event is set to take place later this evening between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at the Errigal House Hotel in Cootehill.
The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) initiative, which is now in its 18th year, will see an expected 150 women in business from Cavan and Monaghan come together. This collaborative event is hosted by the Cavan and Monaghan Local Enterprise Offices together with Cavan Women in Business Network and the Monaghan Women in Business Network.
Aprilanna Barker, from Dinkins Bakery, is the NWED Ambassador for the Local Enterprise Office in Monaghan. Jodie Curran spoke with Aprilanna and began by asking her to explain more about today's event:
