LISTEN BACK: Women in farming have been 'undervalued and understated'

Marking International Women's Day 2023, Alice Doyle, IFA National Farm Family & Social Affairs Chair acknowledged the important contribution of women in agriculture. In fact, Ms Doyle believes the role has been undervalued and understated for a long number of years.

She spoke to the Wider View this week and began by explaining why the role has been so undervalued in the first instance.
