Westenra Arms Hotel in Monaghan sold to local businessman. Local businessman, Padraig Watters, spoke for the first time, following the announcement yesterday, that he is taking over the Westenra Arms Hotel.

The McEnaney Family have been at the helm of the popular hotel, located in Monaghan Town, for the past 22 years.

Moreover, the sale will complete in early December 2024 and the Watters Family will then take control of the hotel. Jodie Curran spoke with Mr Watters and began by asking him his thoughts on the announcement.
