It's a period of time that has been described as the darkest days on the island of Ireland during the period known as the troubles.
The Dublin Monaghan and Belturbet bombings were two dark days which occurred over 50 years ago.
A local TD raised the issue in the Dail last week calling for Urgent progress into the Dublin-Monaghan and Belturbet bombings investigations.
Deputy Brendan Smith also added that whoever makes up the British Government after tomorrows elections in the UK must scrap the British legacy act and cooperate fully with the investigations into the Dublin-Monaghan and Belturbet bombings.
