The Minister for Education, Norma Foley, is in Monaghan today for a series of engagements. The Minister is attending an event in St. Louis Secondary School to celebrate the success of students past and present and empowering women.

She attended a special assembly where girls had an opportunity to ask the government minister questions about education and her own success in politics.

The visit was part of a day of events at St Louis' celebrating and inspiring women.  Additionally, it includes a wellbeing session in the afternoon and culminating in a barbecue for staff and students.
