Tributes are continuing to pour in after the death of The Pogues frontman Shane McGowan.

Editor of Hot Press Niall Stokes says 'it's a watershed moment when you see a great like that passing away'.

The 65 year-old who wrote Fairytale of New York died peacefully in the early hours of Thursday morning. Clones man Eamon McCaughey met Shane a number of times and even travelled to America to see the international musician
