A "special and unique" occasion took place at Kingspan Breffni Park on Tuesday when a new Sensory Room was officially opened at the GAA grounds. It's the first facility of its kind to be opened by the GAA and will promote inclusiveness, and access to the sport for everyone.
Speaking to the Wider View, Cavan GAA senior captain Raymond Galligan, highlighted how the Room's ethos was centred on creating a safe space for young people with special needs so they can engage indoors or socialise outside and enjoy the match taking place on the pitch.
First though he began by saying the the day was "special" for the young people of Co Cavan and for their families.
