Education Minister Norma Foley has confirmed that the major building project announced for Gaelscoil Eois in Clones has been given the go ahead.
The construction will consist of 8 Classrooms and 2 Special Education Teaching Rooms.
The Clones school was recently given the green-light to proceed to construction, after construction plans were previously paused by the department due to issues with funding.
Local senator Robbie Gallagher said that in his mind the go ahead for the school was always going to happen.
Senator Gallagher has been telling our reporter Ronan Gargan about what he describes a great announcement for the people of Clones. He has also being telling Ronan about the visit of President Biden who will address a joint sitting of the Oireachtas yesterday afternoon.
