The second Killeshandra Camino is taking place tomorrow (17th June).
Walkers will take on the mapped 35.5km route through some of the country's most picturesque rolling hillsides and unspoilt forests, country laneways and lakeside greenways.
Killeshandra is located within the world famous UNESCO recognised Cuilcagh Lakelands Global Geopark, and marketed to tourists as part of Fáilte's Ireland's Hidden Heartlands.
There are five different starting times for walkers going every half hour between 7am and 9am.
This year there is an added element with each of the 40 GAA clubs in Cavan have been asked to bring a team of four people to do their own Camino on the day to raise funds for three well known charities.
Camino Project manager, Eileen Gormely, has been speaking to our reporter Ronan Gargan about tomorrow's event.
Eileen started her conversation with Ronan to tell her all about the planned Camino.
