A Scotstown chicken farmer has diversified in an interesting way to start farming snails for their slime to use in beauty and health products.
Kieran Corley runs Bragan Skincare from his farm at Stracunnion where he keeps around one million snails for their slime and uses it in his unique products.
Kieran harnesses the healing power of the humble snail to create a skincare range that has proven to help conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and restless legs to name a few.
Used by Koreans for years, Hollywood A-listers Jennifer Anniston and Katie Holmes, are also advocates of snail slime as a beauty boost.
