Works are underway at Hope Castle and that surrounding area of Castleblayney.
Local Councilor Aidan Campbell confirmed the local authority were working to tidy up the current derelict Hope Castle.
He said he hopes to see the property full restored and to benefit the community, but for the moment this is was about making it tidy and more presentable in the interim.
