Public consultations are taking place over the next two weeks across Co Cavan in respect of the Local Economic Community Plan and the PeacePlus initiative. The LECP will set out the objectives and actions needed to promote Cavan's economic and community development from 2023 to 2027 while PeacePlus enables communities living in the border region to extend the hand of friendship.
Meanwhile, consultations take place on Thursday the 16th and Monday the 20th of February at the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan; Wednesday the 22nd of February at Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff; and at the Cootehill Community Hub on Wednesday next, the 22nd of February.
Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Cllr John Paul Feely, spoke to the Wider View about the matter. And, he began by explaining how important it is for people across the county to come out and have their say.
