Border Communities Against Brexit (BCAB) has called on the DUP to accept the Windsor Framework. The organisation says that the dalliance of right wing Brexiteer's has come at a very high price and has resulted in the breakdown of trust between the parties within the fragile Stormont Assembly as well as the collapse of the Executive.
BCAB spokesperson, Damien McGeinty, says that at a time of "a cost-of-living crisis not seen in living memory", education and health services are breaking down in Northern Ireland and people are going hungry.
Speaking to the Wider View this week, Mr McGeinty highlighted how the ordinary person in Northern Ireland accepts the Windsor Framework, and wants their democratically elected Assembly up and running.
But first, he began by highlighting the negative impact the loss of EU funding - brought about by Brexit - is having on the region.
