A new specialised dedicated Garda Drugs unit has been announced for Cavan and Monaghan
The dedicated unit will be made up of gardai from various ranks who will specialise in the area of frug detection.
Over 600,000 euro worth of drugs has been seized in Cavan and Monaghan over the past three weeks according to the Garda Chief Superintendent for the region.
