A park for dogs has opened its doors in Carrickmacross yesterday for our four legged pets.
Local Councillor Colm Carty says it's a great idea and he says he has already being getting calls from neighbouring towns and from other counties looking to bring their dogs over to Carrick for a visit.
Councillor Carthy has been speaking to our reporter Ronan Gargan about the official opening of the park.

The Carrickmacross Councillor started by telling Ronan about this idea and he says he can see this becoming a tourism amenity for the area also.
