National Bike Week kicks off from today Saturday, the 13th of May and will continue until Sunday, the 21st. The occasion aims to celebrate and promote the benefits of cycling in people of all ages and abilities.
Numerous activities are taking place across Cavan and Monaghan that will encourage people across the region to take to the bike. Morna O'Hanlon, Programmes Officer with Cavan Sports Partnership spoke to the Wider View this week about proceedings locally.
She began by saying there is something to suit everyone - young and old.
