A local councillor has highlighted her concerns over severe traffic congestion going into Monaghan Town. According to Cllr Sinead Flynn, locals from the Threemilehouse and Clones areas in particular often avoid travelling into Monaghan Town altogether due to high volumes of traffic.
The Sinn Fein representative who raised the issue at this month's meeting of Monaghan County Council asked what plans were in place to tackle the issue and reduce the traffic at peak times. Jodie Curran spoke to Cllr Flynn about the matter:
