Niko Kawonczyk a 22 year old student who hails from Co Monaghan and has family roots in Poland says the student accommodation crisis is worsening.
As the new academic year is set to begin the local man has been sharing his experience of college life has been like and it all centers around accommodation or the lack of it. He says he had to work through the night while he studied to pay for his rent and that was when he found a place to live. It took him 6 months to find a place to sleep in the capital.
Ronan Gargan (Northern Sound News) has been speaking to Niko to find out more about what is take is on the current situation when it comes to finding accommodation for student in our capital city.
