Julieanne Black Reel, who is originally from Castleblayney, and Alisha McElvaney from Monaghan have come together to donate personal protective equipment to healthcare staff across the Northern Sound region and beyond.
They have teamed up with local companies who are making PPE, notably Murray Excel in Monaghan, and have set up a GoFundMe page to support and help protect healthcare staff.
They are also keeping a record of all PPE purchased and where it is donated to, which is then shared via social media pages so that people can see how their donations have helped.
