Minister Heather Humphreys says she is going to take a break for now and enjoy life following her retirement from politics.
The local Fine Gael outgoing TD and Minister says she has enjoyed her time on the canvas trail meeting people across the region which has afforded her the opportunity to thank them for their support throughout the years.
Speaking to Northern Sound earlier today Minister Humphreys said she is going to enjoy more time at home with her family and on the farm with her husband Eric.
